Church/Youth Group Adventures

Service Description

Alta Adventures partners with church groups and youth groups (sport teams, clubs, youth organizations) to create custom outdoor experiences that strengthen relationships and support your group’s goals. Every adventure is intentionally designed around your theme, needs, and desired outcomes—whether that’s building unity, developing leadership, strengthening problem solving skills & teamwork, or creating space for meaningful connection. We work closely with leaders to ensure each experience is not just fun, but truly impactful. We offer a range of flexible options to fit your program: If you already have something planned, we can enhance it with 2–4 hours of climbing and/or rappelling. If you’re looking for a fully guided experience, we provide 4–7 hour adventures with an option to add lunch. For youth ages 12 and older looking for a deeper experience, join one of our scheduled summer camping adventures. These trips include meals and a variety of activities such as climbing, rappelling, hiking, canyoneering, water experiences, and meaningful campfire gatherings. Optional transportation is available for an additional fee. To learn more or reserve your spot, visit the “Adventures for All” section under the Adventures menu. All adventures have a capacity limit of 20 participants. We have certified climbing guides who also bring a strong background in education. Richard Long holds a Master’s in Education, and Eric Eaves holds a Master’s in Education Counseling. Both have worked as high school administrators and Boy Scout leaders. This combination of technical expertise and professional training allows us to create adventures that are not only well-run, but also intentional, engaging, and meaningful for every group.
